How does Super Phone Unlimited works?
When You order Super Phone Unlimited Service,
you get a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment)
that you plug on your dsl or cable modem.
Then You attach your telephone set to
it and start making phone calls.
When you place a call using Super Phone
Unlimited Phone Service, it goes through
the Internet, to one of our many PSTN
gateway servers, then places a call to
the number you are calling, making it
work the same way like you use your phone
today.
If you place a call from a Super Phone
Unlimited to another Super Phone Unlimited
Subscriber, the system opens a Direct
Connection between the 2 Super Phones
over the Internet, bypassing the regular
telephone system.
If you or you business calls ONLY in between your offices, Please look at
www.Supertec.com/cablephone
www.supertec.com/sp800/
www.callkiosk.com for connecting
your offices over the Internet. These
services DO NOT have any per month charges,
and are separate from Super Phone unlimited.

21)
How many telephones extensions can I have?
There
are four ways to plug multiple extensions
into your ATA. Please note that currently
only phone port 1 is used by our service.
1.
You
can purchase a multiple jack extension
connector, and then connect it to phone
port 1 of the ATA. This will allow you
to have multiple phones on a single Super
Phone Unlimited line.
2.
Some of our customers use cordless phone
systems that come with a base unit and
extra handsets. The base station of the
cordless telephone plugs directly into
the ATA. Multiple handsets can be placed
anywhere in the house.
3.
You can purchase wireless phone jacks.
The base unit connects to the ATA and
the wireless jacks plug into your household
electrical outlets. A telephone connects
to the wireless jack. Please note that
only the phone attached to the base unit
will display caller ID information. Note:
During testing in our lab, we noticed
sporadic dropped calls on the extension
phones and an inability to talk on more
than one phone at a time.
4.
Some of our customers have plugged the
ATA directly into the existing telephone
wiring in their homes. The manufacturer
of the adapter does not recommend hooking
anything to the adapter other than a telephone,
but you can seek advice from an electrician
or someone who is familiar with internal
telephone wiring on how to best connect
it to your current wiring to take advantage
of multiple extensions. We would advice
that you check the wiring on the jacks
to make sure you don't have live PSTN
voltage on the jacks before connecting
them to the ATA (this can be easily done
by using a line tester). Be advised that
any damage resulting from practices contrary
to manufacturers' recommendations for
the ATA will not be covered by warranty.
22)
How do I get multiple phone lines?
To
get multiple lines, you must open multiple
accounts. We offer Corporate discounts
for customers who have over 10 lines.

23)
Is Super Phone Unlimited like a cell phone?
No, it's not. Super Phone Unlimited
provides stable, premium telephone service
over a high speed Internet connection.
However, Super Phone Unlimited does provide
one of the advantages of a cell phone:
your phone number will stay connected
to your basic Super Phone Unlimited equipment
(namely, your ATA 186 or Motorolla phone
adapter). So if you bring this equipment
along with you when you travel, and connect
it to any high-speed Internet connection
at your new location, you'll be reachable
at your phone number wherever you are.
